Shri J S Ravikumar is a Shareholder Director representing Bank of India. He holds Master’s degree in Science (Agriculture), MCA, MBA and CAIIB. He joined Bank of India as agricultural officer in 1987 and worked in various geographical areas of Bihar (now Jharkhand), Andhra Pradesh (Unified), Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. He has overseas stint in Japan for three years as Osaka Branch Head. He headed Gramin Bank of Aryavart (Lucknow) for four years as Chairman from 2013 to 2017. After elevation as General Manager, he is heading Department of Priority Sector and Business Unit – Rural since May 2017. He served as Branch Head in rural India for around 17 years.
